The family that blogs together...

Last night I attended the launch of the Kidspot Top 50 Bloggers. It was a hugely fun night that resulted in visits to back-lane bars and me being thankful, as ever, that I rarely succumb to the lure of high heels. Lots of standing, people, lots of standing - and me smug in my flats. It was made even more fun by the fact that I got to share it with my sisters (who are both on the list - Maxabella Loves and And Then There Were Four) and my brother TICH (who is not, but would be if he blogged, for sure).

I love the fact that my sisters both blog. Not only does it give us an awful lot to talk about when we get together (not that we really needed prompts...), but it allows me to keep up with not only what my sisters and their families are doing - but with what my sisters are thinking. The latter is something that can be lost when one of you leaves town for Pinker pastures.

I read their blogs every day and love reading their comments on mine. There is always an inside joke to be found for those who are looking - and I'm looking.

I'm incredibly proud that both of them are on the Kidspot Top 50 Bloggers list - and I think you could do a lot worse than voting for them. Both of them, of course. You wouldn't want to be accused of playing favourites, now would you?

It's very easy - just follow the links.

Vote for Maxabella Loves

Vote for Multiple Mum at And Then There Were Four

The whole blogging family thanks you.

  1. For the love of God! Where did you find that picture? Look at you with your tucked in top and Harley Davidson-esque handle bars. You still have the height advantage! Bron is patting your hand (just for something different!), completely at ease in front of the camera. And me staring up at my two big sisters, so blonde and cute, with the exception of that awful dress and bowl cut! Thanks so much for pimping us x

  2. It was great meeting all of you! That is one talented family right there.
Ps - I ended up taking my shoes off. I think it's well and truly time to just let go of that fantasy.
    Thongs from now on. Always.

  3. Eeek! I can't believe you're on the internet in your orange (what is it with Mum and orange?) skirt and green t-shirt. And I'm not doing so well either in my paisly purple number. At least Coo is reasonable in her newsprint maxi. Wowzah!! And check out those handlebars, Al!!!

Thanks, Al. You're a good sister you are! x

  6. You and your sisters made a huge impression on me last night. You're all bloody fantastic.

I have photographic evidence of why my two sisters and I are not fashion bloggers, too. (Bell bottoms and corduroy all the way, baby!)

Thank you so much for your generous words, too.

  12. I love that you all blog, and then visit each other's blogs. It's hard to stay in touch with family when you grow up, but blogging bridges the gap and brings you back to the kitchen table again.
    They have my vote. :)

Such a cute pic! Ahh, to have a sister! I had to settle for 6 brother's instead... and NONE of them are bloggers... or would even know what a blog is for that matter :o/ But I love them anyway!
